Her feet are able to flex to 'wrap around' what she is standing on, like a pipe for instance, so that her balance is strengthened. She is about 5'10" when wearing her boots.
It does not matter how much Adelle eats, she cannot gain much weight at all. Her weight comes from training physically to gain muscle mass. Her skin is slightly tan.
Tattoos/Distinguishing Marks: A wolf tattoo on the right shoulder blade with the words 'Lone Wolf' underneath. Rip in the ear from a crossbow accident. Scar over the left eye. A celtic knot tattoo on her right inner wrist. A cross tattoo on her left arm. Scar on the left hand from tinkering with engines. Numerous other scars all along her body from sword-fighting and such.

Personality: Has a tendency to wield sarcasm in every conversation she goes into. Above-average intellect causes her to alienate those she doesn't find to be 'on her intelligence level' but it doesn't interfere with how she works. She has a short temper, resulting in a few fights if not removed from the argument. Generally will let her displeasure known quite plainly. She is also very stubborn, so getting her out of situations is easier said than done.
Often stays in her quarters when not on duty, preferring solitude over socializing. She does not like being around people, but when she is she will generally be sarcastic and snide, but isn't meaning to hurt feelings. Can go into a type of feral rage when provoked. Enjoys eating her meals backwards on occasion. That is to say, she'll have breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast. History Overview:
While in her mother's womb an experimental genetic procedure was used on her. This caused her eyes to be an uncommon color (purple) and for her to have excellent night vision. Her night vision has been compared to the strength of a cat's. The procedure also gave her heightened hearing, eyesight, and pain tolerance/stamina and a type of feral rage. Some have likened the procedure to the project that is linked to Khan. It has similarities but is not the same project.
Adelle grew up in a medium-sized city in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland to a lower middle class family. She took on her mother's maiden name (Dagmar) at 16, rather than her father's (McAlpin) but her records list her as Adelle Dagmar-McAlpin. She worked in the family restaurant located in Scotland, while she went to school. High school is where she grew up the most, and fought the most. Her temper always got the better of her while in school surrounded by 'bleedin' idiots' as she called them when complaining at home.
She was invited to join the star fleet academy upon age 16 thanks to her aptitude tests, where she floated in the top 6 position of her class. She graduated after 4 years, and given the rank of Ensign. She was not instantly picked up by a crew, so instead she used her know-how while on earth to work on improving the engines on older ships in the armada.
While she was kept on earth she read up on the exploits of the fleets and ships given permission to explore the far reaches of space, finding out how hard ships were pushed out in space by varying commanders. This allowed her to anticipate what would be required of her once she was picked up by a ship.
Shortly after turning age 21, legal drinking age in the US, she was picked up by the USS Wyvern as the Assistant Chief Engineering Officer. She finally had a ship to keep in order, and real full-size engines to take care of.
After a short trip and contact with the Skadi Nation, she was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade after arriving at the drydock for repairs. She was also promoted to the post of Chief Engineering Officer, replacing her former superior (Lopez).
After a few months, Adelle was promoted for her actions during rescuing Admiral Pulver. It was on the USS Wyvern that she made friends with the Klingon knows as K'Rene. She also met Dixon and Stubbs while on the Wyvern.
Some time later, Adelle was ordered off of the Wyvern and sent back to Earth to help train new engineers. In a few years she was put on the USS Europa as Chief Engineer. It was on that ship that she met Commander Laura Marlowe, who was 15 years older than Adelle. They became involved, even though Laura was the wife of Admiral Eric Marlowe.
Laura was transferred to Starbase 47, codenamed Archangel. Learning that the Europa would not be visiting the base for some time, Adelle put in a transfer to the USS Orizaba for the sheer purpose of meeting up with Laura again. While on the Starbase, Adelle became involved with an Orion black market boss, named Ganz who was getting up there in years.
After that, she was ordered to the Fleetyards after gaining a promotion to Commander.
